Unable to Link Bank Account

My financial institution is in the dropdown showing as a bank account option, but I am still unable to link my account.

We leverage Plaid to make the linking process simple and straightforward! However, we recognize that some link attempts are unsuccessful. If you encounter a situation where an account takes longer than 24 hours to link, here are some common troubleshooting steps to try:

Plaid outages:

  • Verify that Plaid is not currently experiencing downtime or outages for your financial institution by visiting the Plaid dashboard: https://status.plaid.com/

Incorrect credentials:

  • If your desired bank account is not linking, verify your credentials. If you are having a problem linking your account through Plaid, you can double check your username and password by attempting to login directly to your financial institution’s app or web site. If problems persist, do not hesitate to contact customer service via chat or email, at premiumsupport@hellostretch.com.

Account setup incomplete:

  • If you see an error when linking your desired bank account stating your account with your financial institution is not set up, please visit your financial institution's website and login to your account through their portal. Your financial institution may need an additional action from you such as acknowledgement of notifications or agreement to a new privacy policy.
