Cancel Scheduled Payment

I have one or more liability (debt) payments in 'pending' status. Can I cancel one or both payments?

If you have payments in 'pending' status, you can cancel one or all pending payments.

To cancel a payment:

  • Navigate to the 'Account Details' page of that liability (debt) account

  • Click the 'Cancel Pending Payment' button to begin the cancellation process

  • Select the payment you wish to cancel and click 'Cancel Payment'

We know peace of mind is important! To confirm a successful cancellation, we'll send an email and text to the address and phone number opted in to receive notifications. You will also be notified within the Stretch Financial Wellness® application.

Your payment will not be canceled until you select the payment you desire to cancel and click the 'Cancel Payment' button to submit the cancellation.

If the payment is not in “Pending” status, but reflects a “Processing” or “Completed” status, you will not be able to cancel payment through Stretch Financial Wellness and must contact the Account Liability Holder to resolve any issues.
