Submit On vs. Deliver By Dates

Edited

What is the difference between the 'submit on' and 'deliver by' dates?

When making a payment toward a liability (debt), you'll see two date classifications.

  • The date tagged as 'submit on' is the date you're electing to begin the withdrawal process from your financial institution. Depending on your financial institution, the payment may be withdrawn right away, or could take up to 3 days. Please ensure funds are available in the account on the 'submit on' date.

  • The date tagged as 'deliver by' is the date by which you're electing for the funds to be applied to your liability account. This will always be up to 5 business days from the 'submit on' date. Please ensure your due date is on or before the 'deliver by' date.
